JOINT MANAGERS RESIGN
Wednesday 14th May 2014

With the season well over joint managers John Pyatt and Paul Gazzard have
both officially resigned from their management rolls with Bashley FC. During a
very tough season for the New Forest club, many lessons were learnt along the
way, following Stuart Kearns resignation as joint manager at the start of October
last year Pyatt came in to assist Gazzard as joint manager after resigning from
his previous role as Director of Football with Brockenhurst FC.

Interim Executive Committee Member Tim Allan commented; “This last season
was tough for everyone involved, both John and Paul were great examples
working for the club no matter what was thrown at them. On behalf of everyone at
Bashley I would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the hard work and
all their efforts for our club and wish them both the best for wherever their future
takes them.”

The departed Pyatt said; "I would like to thank Bashley for my experience at
Bashley. It has been an enjoyable lesson being involved at the Southern League
level with the facilities, playing abilities and the professional manner that is
required. Even in the darkest days everyone involved has been positive and that
is very hard to maintain."

On many occasions after thinking he had hung up his boots, Bashley legend
Gazzard came into action many times during the season with the remarkable
achievement, surely not to be bettered, in making over 300 appearances for the
club.

Gazzard said; "Being Bashley through and through it was a hard decision to
make to step down as joint manager. I feel that I can't devote enough time to a
full time management roll due to business and personal reasons, but I'm happy
to continue helping Bashley and the new management team as part of the back
room staff."
Bashley fans need not fear, work behind the scenes has been carrying on at a
rapid pace over the last few weeks in re-structuring the club to move forward.

Allan added; “There are a few things to finalise but in principle our new
management team will be released during next week. We also hope to announce
the first friendly or more as well as our first signings very soon.”

Meanwhile on Sunday afternoon Bashley play host to the New Forest and
District Youth Football League Trophy Presentation and Cup Final between
